If you are looking for a change from the beach then there are lots of other fun places to spend the day or afternoon ad here are just a few of them:
Within a short drive there is a crazy golf park with a large play area, a fun ‘Maize Maze’, where you can quite literally loose yourself all afternoon!
Odet Loisirs is a theme park with 12 acres of zip wires, bouncy castles, water slides, forest play areas, boats etc., it is still reasonably priced, great for all ages and an entertaining day out.
La recrés des trois curés is a large theme park over 18 acres and again very reasonably priced at 14,50€ for 12 years up. There are Roller Coasters, Carousels, Pirate Galleons, Aquatic area, Bob Sleigh, Water Slides to name but a few. Another great day for children and adults of all ages!
There is a great Zoo only 30 minutes from us with 600 animals (plus one as a baby Elephant was born here last May) and 120 different species. You can easily spend the day here as in addition to visiting the animals there are lots of animal shows put on throughout the day from amazing Bird displays to swimming with Sea Lions.
Oceanopolis is a large Aquarium at Brest, with four different Pavillions to visit; Biodiversity, Temperate, Polar, and Tropical. Experience a wonderful journey through the different areas with a total of 1700m3 of aquariums showing the diversity of marine organisms, from sharks to live coral not to mention numerous species of colourful fish and invertebrates. It is an amazing aquarium and one we would recommend as we have visited several times and our children love it.
Should the weather be inclement then there are also a couple of indoor play centres that are great for children.
