Experience Life in Brittany
In 2002, we bought the Farm from M. et Mme Le Saux, now our neighbours and a local French family. It is about two hundred years old and had remained in the same family for three generations. When we first visited, it was a working Dairy Farm with a herd of 50 Friesians Cows and about 100 acres. We decided to make it our home and moved to France with our family in 2003.
In 2007, we completed the renovation of the old Milking Barn into five Cottages, the old farmhouse into a cottage and the old dairy into another. Each one has been sympathetically converted ensuring that all the original granite and wood features have remained. We continually aim to ensure that Keranmeriet is a relaxing place for guests to stay and experience life in Brittany.

All our cottages have panoramic views over the farm and the surrounding picturesque countryside. They also overlook their own private garden and terrace, separated from the cottage next door with fencing and bamboo hedging. As our Cottages are different sizes, they cater for couples, family groups and friends, making the perfect base to explore the beautiful landscape and beaches of Brittany.

Child Friendly
We Welcome Children at Keranmeriet!
To take the worry away from you, we supply all the things you should need for babies, toddlers and children when coming here on holiday. As we have children of our own, we have also tried to ensure that Keranmeriet is a safe environment for children to play in.
Safe & Sound
All the gardens are fenced with a gate, and we can supply a padlock if you would like to make it doubly secure. The pool is heated, completely enclosed with a 1.3m high fence and a security gate that cannot be opened by toddlers. We are also 500m from the nearest road and, as we are set in our own land, the only cars belong to other Guests.
Activities for Children
To make your life easier, we have put comics, DVDs, indoor and outdoor games in all the cottages. All the cottages also have English TV, which include CBBC, Cbeebies, and CITV. In addition if you would like to go out for a ride we have quiet country lanes on our doorstep. There is also a child play area with a sandpit, swings, slide and a small seesaw.

ENJOY OUR HEATED SWIMMING POOL!
Whether you prefer swimming at the beach or in a pool, you’ve got lots of options at Keranmeriet. Not only do you have easy access to the local rivers and beaches, we have a 12m heated pool too! Set in a natural environment with lovely views over the Aven valley, it’s perfect for a relaxing swim (especially in those warm summer months). We also always try to keep it welcoming for families so the pool is enclosed with a high fence and self-locking security gate.
