Pont Aven, only 10 minutes away, is a beautiful town nestling along the banks of the Aven River with its ancient water mills. It has been made famous by Paul Gaugin who used to come and paint here and now has a museum dedicated to him. If you interested in painting it is possible to go on a course here as it is now a popular centre for art.. You can also hire a canoe here and navigate a leisurely afternoon down to the sea.
