Fishing on the Farm

We have a 100m x 20m Trout pond that is a 5 minute walk from your door and nestles in our meadow. We stock the pond every year with Trout big enough to be eaten for dinner. You can happily fish all day, we supply fishing rods (or you can bring your own) and we just ask you to pay for the Trout you catch. We also have fishing nets so your children can help you or just fish for tadpoles!

The river Aven borders the meadow for 1km and there are Trout and Salmon as well as many other breeds of Fish. A fishing permit is required and can be bought locally for 10 Euros per day or 30 Euros for 15 days, this allows you to fish in other locations along the Aven. The permit also gives you acess to fish in the lakes in the centre of Rosporden where there are many varieties of fish.
